Why do we do what we do?

Despite our country’s rapid progress, girl children are constantly at the receiving end of gender disparity and prejudices, resulting from centuries of regressive socio-cultural practices. Financial limitations further impede their chances for a good education, formal employment and social mobility.

1 in every 4 girls that attends primary school, drops out before reaching high school

14% of girls between the ages 15-18 years are not attending school

3 in every 10 girls from economically disadvantaged groups, have never set foot in school

27% of girls continue to get married off under the legal age of 18 years

We want to change this

Come join us as we celebrate 5 meaningful years of hope and impact!

Give a girl Wings...
Watch her wear them as a Cape!
